FASCINATING AND INTRIGUING
"Talented" is a word that describes the majority of our students. We are smart. We are gifted. We are McKinley Middle Academic Magnet School.
There are several courses offered in the Arts. As a student here, you will be exposed to a multiplicity of electives including: choir, band, orchestra, piano, dance, ballet, art, animation, television and film, web development, and music technology to name a few.
Your exposure to the performing, visual, and digital arts will provide a well-rounded, middle school experience for you. This only adds to the developed culture of our school.
Students develop and cultivate their gifts here at McKinley Middle School. We all find a sense of belonging through the arts

TRANSITION AND GROWTH
As an incoming 6th grader, we had to learn how to be middle school students. The transition to middle school can be challenging. We have to go to different classes on different days and sometimes we would just get lost going from the gym to the VPA hallway to the front office to the 6th grade hallway. Transition is inevitable, but we are resilient. We continually transition and grow through 8th grade.
